HI,
It looks like the phone is locked to a particular carrier,just get it unlocked.To unlock your phone just contact the service provider and request him to unlock your Iphone ,It may take some time may be days ,weeks or even months to proceed.If you don't have that much time,then simply use the remote unlock service which is a permanent unlock.You can avail the service from the site http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/apple-iphone/rs2wp9/ .
By providing some basic information about your phone like the country and the network to which the phone is locked.After providing the information you can avail the service to unlock your Iphone to use it with any other GSM network.
